Hi Friends!  I haven’t done a favorites post in a while, so I wanted to give you a quick update on what I’m still loving and what new products have stolen my heart.

Jord Wood Watch for Fall 2017 + $180 Giveaway

I’ve been so enthralled into the makeup world for the past year that I haven’t been paying too much attention to style.  But, recently after getting inspired by the upcoming Fall weather, I decided to start dressing up again. I’ve pulled out my sweaters and boots, started styling my hair a little more frequently, and started accessorizing.  One of my favorite ways to accessorize is with a watch.  I first became familiar with JORD Wood Watches in July when I hosted a giveaway with them.  It was easy to fall in love with this watch because it is beautiful and completely fits my style.  I’m also the worst at charging things, which is why I never seem to wear a watch.  I love that with my JORD watch, that isn’t something I need to worry about.   The wood of my watch goes well with all my neutral sweaters and it’s comfortable, never pinching my wrist or weighing me down!

Kylie Cosmetics Bronze Palette Dupe?

I wanted to do a quick post comparing the Thrive Causemetics Perfect Eye Palette vs the Kylie Cosmetics Bronze palette. I consider this to be an amazing dupe, both in color selection and quality.  Please see below for the swatches comparing the two palettes.

MAC Personality Palettes Review and Swatches- Prissy Princess and Basic Bitch

I product reviews might be my favorite thing to write.  Mostly, because I have to LOVE it in order to choose to write the review, so it’s typically it’s the easiest for me to write. Plus, I love sharing and talking about new products and my experiences.

Mac Cosmetics just came out with a new collection MACGirls, Personality Palettes.  There are 6 palettes all with different shade combinations.   Each palette has a particular color theme that provides options for both day and night-time looks. I personally got to try out Prissy Princess and Basic Bitch (I know you’re reading this, so sorry, Mom).  The colors were so velvety, I was truly suprised by how much I liked the formula.  Prissy Princess (my favorite out of the two) is filled with cool pinks and taupes.  Basic Bitch has cool, muted smokey shades, with some AMAZING glitters thrown in.  I’m actually a little obsessed with that bold dark glitter.  The four palettes that I haven’t tried are: Rockin’ Rebel, it has a bit more color with cool pops of blue and green, Power Hungry it’s filled with warm gold and bronze tones, Mischeif Minx, it has deep, warm neutrals, and Fashion Fanatic it has bold pinks and warm corals.

Pairing Rustic with Glam- JORD Wood Watches & $100 GIVEAWAY!

I know this is not a review that I typically would add to my blog since it has very little to do with makeup/ hair/ skin, but the beauty of being a blogger is that you get to discover and meet so many wonderful brands.  When I was first approached by JORD, I wasn’t necessarily sure how I felt about wood watches, or working with a watch company in general.  I’m sure you can imagine, I get a lot of random emails from companies/ people requesting various things from me.  I respectfully decline a lot of offers, or maybe send them to someone that might be a better fit.  However, trying not to judge, I went to the JORD website and FELL IN LOVE with this rose gold unique watch and truly thought that I couldn’t keep a beauty like this to myself!  I was also very pleasantly surprised how nice and accommodating the person I was working with was, truly just a kind human!

Too Faced Natural Love Palette Review
